The patterns in my studio grow out of everyday life! Small rituals, quiet moments, and the familiar things that make a home feel warm.

A signature Style

rooted in simple, hand-painted marks

My sketchbooks hold the earliest ideas. Loose florals, softened tones and uncomplicated shapes often begin on these pages before becoming patterns.

Inspiration comes from daily routines and the textures found in ordinary spaces, slowly finding their way into each design.

I’m Calla

A surface designer who grew up in a home where cooking, sewing, gardening, and making things by hand were part of everyday life.

Those early influences stayed with me.

I still love warm terracotta colors, a good weekend meal, and the creative fulfillment of turning painted marks into finished prints.

The life I live today - a home full of creativity, a blooming garden and a little boy discovering the world - keeps my work rooted in the everyday warmth I’ve always valued.
